Sacred Environment Photo Journal

Upon commission from The Holland Festival to write a 40′ oratorio for the Netherlands Radio Philharmonic Orchestra and Choir, composer Kate Moore planned to write an environmental work venerating Nature as a holy place of worship. In doing so she went back to the bushland of her family heritage in Australia where she went on an expedition with a team including a photographer, an environmental scientist and a didgeridoo player. Together they spend 10 days in the bush observing the sacred land and the secrets it holds. Below is a photo journal of their expedition.
