I just heard Blackbird Song for the first time on ABC radio Melbourne this morning, performed by Ensemble Offspring. I was mesmerized in the supermarket car park for the entire performance. I tried to guess the instruments. Vibraphone, clarinet and soprano sax? Anyway, it was a beaut experience and made my day. Thank you Kate.
