Dr. Kate Moore is a composer and sound artist, fascinated by the rituals of sound in space in relation to architecture, the environment and performance practise both sacred and secular. She was the recipient of the 2022 Gieskes-Strijbis Podiumprijs, the 2017 Matthijs Vermeulen composition prize and her works have been widely performed internationally, receiving commissions from The Netherlands Radio Philharmonic Orchestras, Holland Festival, ASKO Schoenberg Ensemble, Bang on a Can All-Stars and Icebreaker Ensemble among others.
